I always find this subject interesting because I think its a winning strategy for the Palestinians.

Right or not, it puts the border guards in a lose-lose situation.

Do you remember our conversation yesterday? You said you thought the dispute was about modern nationhood. I said that the dispute is about simple Jewish existence, in other words, Never Again.

I don’t have any problem with this disagreement. However, I would like you to appreciate this side of the dispute.

Nation, nation. Existence, existence isn’t a discussion. It ends up as a shouting match. So, when I talk about Israel, as is the case with many who post here, we are talking about preventing genocide.

That’s it. Trying to foster understanding.

If I’d wanted to talk about that subject, I would have posted in that thread :P This is a significant, real, and fascainating subject in itself, and I’d love the chance to talk about that without the massive derailment >>

LGF needs a PM system, then we could go back and forth for hours!

But you did post on the subject of Jewish genocide, no matter how you are trying to ignore it being shown to you that you did. :-P

That’s right, definitely “wait”, because it’s not the same, no matter how many “Palestinians” try to lie to people about it being the same.

I’m just suggesting that they really don’t want to put themselves in any way appearing to be the same as segregationists.

That’s why its a clever tactic, it makes it so the Israelis look bad almost no matter what.

It is no more a clever tactic than is building weapons manufacturing, weapons storage and weapons firing facilities in the midst of civilian populations knowing that if a single civilian is hurt as a result of Israel is defending itself, the world will rush to blame the Jew among Nations and not the parties who put the military targets in the midst of civilians. The underlying premise is the same - commit an act of war in the hopes of “civilian” casualties that can then be used as part of the ongoing effort to deligitimize the Jewish state’s right to exist.
